1:00-2:00pm Kyle Williams and Band set up
• Set up will be on stage
• Julia Young (Event Guru) will be meet Kyle to assist set up
5:00-5:45pm Kyle Williams and band arrive and SET UP BEGINS! 5pm
• Florist brings table centerpieces
• Band does sound check
• Prepare to start playing at 5:45pm
• Linens need to be placed on tables
• Take down first 6 rows to allow dance floor
• Sustainable light bulb garlands to be hung on two parallel walls (buffet & poster walls)
• Wood vases/pedestals need to be placed on tables and flowers arranged
• Tulle tied on chairs
• Sustainable skeleton leaves delicately placed on tables
5:45-6:00pm Kyle Williams and band play introduction music
• 2 volunteers need to be ready by door entrance to check registration bracelets
• Allow guests into door no sooner than 5:45 pm
6:00 -6:10 pm Reception Begins!
• Student coordinators introduce conference
• Acknowledge gurus
• Acknowledge Kyle Williams and Band
- Acknowledge Henry Young and Florist for donating centerpieces
6:10-6:15 pm Welcome Speech made by Jim
7:15 -7:25 pm SCOOP Presentation
7:25 -7:30 pm Make an announcement to Eat!
• No seconds please until everyone has had a plate
• Direct people to buffet style dinner
• Acknowledge AS Catering for meal
6:30 -7:00 pm Eat!
• Kyle Williams and band will be playing during this time
7:00 -7:10pm Paul Persons Award
• Explain qualifications of award
• Explain importance of award
7:10 -7:20pm Greenie Award
• Explain qualifications of award
• Explain importance of award
7:20 -7:25pm Dorm Energy Winner
• Explain qualifications of award
• Explain importance of award
7:25 -7:40 pm Sustainability Speech given by Courtney or Stacy
• Inspiring speech that represents importance of universities sustainable efforts
7:40-9:00pm Kyle Williams and band play while guests mingle and dance
• Music will end at 9pm and breakdown will begin shortly after
9:00-10:00 Kyle Williams and band break down
• Decorations need to be boxed up and returned to Julia Young (Event Guru)
• Signs needs to be taken down and returned to proper storage
• Clear off tables from food and clean floors

Conference Goals:
- To promote sustainable efforts in community, business, and education to show the future of sustainability and easy every day tasks to better the environment
- To educate the community on the impact the earth is receiving from waste in our environment, and to reduce this impact as much as humanly possible
- To provide an enjoyable experience for guests full of entertainment, education, organic food, and a night to remember
Conference Objectives:
- to educate future students and current students about sustainability
- to inform community the positive results gained through sustainable efforts
- to inspire community to embrace sustainability in everyday activities
- to portray the beauty sustainability can bring to the earth
- to provide attendants with entertainment and knowledge
- to educate local businesses on sustainability and it's demand on businesses
My Tasks:
- Conducted weekly meetings to direct event team
- Implemented sustainable design while using innovation
- Orchestrated event activities seamlessly by creating conference agenda
- Diligently contacted presenters, speakers, live band, and vendors: linens, caterer, florist, and university budget department
