Carmel Valley Ranch – Catering Coordinator & Activities Supervisor - Group Programming

Created BEOs (banquet event orders) through Delphi for all resort departments and prepared group contracts, estimates, resumes, and site tours for clients

Conducted and organized corporate events & weddings and Built relationships with vendors, artisans and partners through clear communication respect and relationship skills

Processed certificates, donations, group amenities, and special requests

Creatively designed menus, signs, tent cards, flyers and internal informational documents

Graciously assisted leisure guests, resort members, & corporate groups in booking activities & inquiries

Facilitated and designed educational/interactive/craft/experiential workshops: Beeswax Candles, Butterfly & Chicken Chat, Garden Tours, Rustic Ranch Bouquets, Beaded Jewelry Workshops, Bath for Body and Children Craft Programs

Created educational Story Boards (marketing project) for #1 on Trip Advisor Resort

Managed the department for 5 months while the Activities Manager was on maternity leave and acted as the department head managing a full staff while managing: Spasoft (computer booking system) administrative needs, invoicing, petty cash, payroll, ordering, marketing material, forecasting and leisure programming dates, new program design, and following a limited budget

Sold thousands of dollars monthly in Activity Revenue while not earning a commission - boosted the growth of the department (within 1 year we greatly boosted our sales in both leisure, group and children’s programming revenue) Improvement for the department happened under my management and also while the team was understaffed

Over the holidays I maintained and seamlessly executed traditions, events, resort offerings as the department head and surpassed expectations from years prior

Organic Garden Dinner The Organic Garden is a raw, natural, elegant space which holds our Bee Apiary, and Salt House (where we harvest salt from the Monterey Bay and use this element in all our products such as bath salt, cooking salt, and also spa treatment)	Vintner Room The Vintner Room is corporate space used for small groups	Tented Reception Our Clubhouse driving range is an excellent location for tented receptions (primarily weddings)
Sparklers This is a great party favor that makes ever lasting memories and superb photos! Nice creative touch	Poolside Reception The pool cabanas create a luxurious atmosphere for any reception	Wine Vault The Wine Vault is where many menu tasting take place at the Ranch

Wedding Long Table Set-Up This set-up displays an intimate setting where the entire family can be seated at a large table together	Redwood Room	Think Tank The Think Tank is a corporate space for meetings and also can be used a suite for brides to prepare all arrangements on the wedding day
